One page, everything legal

The fine print

Effective 2026-09-20 Applies to echocancellationsoftware.com

Most legal pages are three separate documents of boilerplate nobody reads. Ours is one page you actually can. It covers privacy, affiliate disclosure, and terms of use — in that order, in plain language. Nothing here contradicts what the site says elsewhere; if it ever seems to, tell us and we'll fix whichever one is wrong.

Privacy: what we collect (very little)

No accounts, no forms, no newsletter. You can't give us your name or email here even if you try — there's nowhere to type it.

Analytics. Our CDN, Cloudflare, gives us aggregate traffic counts — which pages get read, roughly where visitors come from — without setting analytics cookies, from truncated technical data (pages viewed, browser type, coarse location). We see aggregates, not identities; we don't sell or share visitor data, run ad networks, or build profiles. Block analytics with any content blocker and every page here works identically — nothing on this site depends on being measured.

Server logs. Like effectively every website, the infrastructure serving these pages records standard access logs (IP address, URL requested, timestamp) for security and debugging, retained briefly and read rarely.

Outbound links. When you leave for a vendor's site — including through our /go/ links — that vendor's own privacy policy takes over. Affiliate networks may set cookies to attribute a purchase to us; that attribution is between us, the network, and the vendor, and includes nothing about your identity from this site, because we hold nothing about your identity.

Affiliate disclosure: how the lights stay on

Echobreak earns money from affiliate commissions. Concretely: links to Krisp route through our /go/ paths and are affiliate links — if you subscribe after clicking one, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. These links are marked rel="sponsored" in the code and disclosed in visible text wherever they appear; you will never meet one dressed up as an unmarked "helpful link."

What commissions don't buy: our conclusions. The recommendations that anchor this site's advice — try your built-in echo cancellation first; NVIDIA Broadcast is free if you have the GPU; headphones fix the loop for nothing — pay us zero. Where we have no affiliate relationship with a vendor we name (for example, NVIDIA), we say so on the page. No vendor reviews, edits, or pre-approves our content, and facts about prices and limits come from vendor documentation with the verification date printed beside them.

Terms of use: the reasonable-person version

Accuracy. We work to keep everything here true, dated, and sourced — and we're human. Vendors change prices and features without asking us. Content on this site is provided "as is," and facts should be confirmed with the vendor before you spend money on them. If a printed fact and a vendor's page disagree, the vendor's page is current and we'd appreciate the heads-up.

Not professional advice. This is consumer technology guidance about call audio — not legal, financial, or any other species of professional advice. Decisions you make with it are yours; we're not liable for losses arising from use of this site, to the maximum extent the law allows.

Our content. The writing and design here are ours (© 2026 Echobreak). Quote us with attribution and a link — that's what we do to others. Don't republish whole pages. Product names and trademarks (Krisp, NVIDIA, and the rest) belong to their owners; naming them is reference, not endorsement in either direction.

Changes. When this page changes materially, the effective date at the top changes with it. Continued use of the site after a change is acceptance of it — the standard deal.
